We combined two rooms off the primary bedroom; a walk-in closet and bath to create a generous, seamless primary bath that incorporated the original elements such as the custom fabricated matching 9” base, window and door casement trim, large crown molding, original wooden, double-sash windows with contemporary features such as the viridian, herringbone shower enclosure, 7’ double vanity with deco mirrors and sconces, a side filling, stand alone tub w/ pendant light above, and a custom fabricated, inset wooden arch with suspended marble shelves. One of the (3) windows in this bath had to be recreated since it had been removed previously and replaced with glass block in the 80s. The hand-built new window returned the N face of the exterior to its original intention. We refurbished the original radiators, while adding heated floors underneath marble tile.
